The CLE program is an additional component of the curriculum for those who wish to undergo Catholic formation. The catechesis is built on four pillars: the baptismal profession of the faith, the sacraments of faith, the life of faith and the prayer of the believer, which are relevantly spread out in the Grade School and High School CLE curriculum.
In addition, students in the Third and Seventh Grade are being prepared for their First Holy Communion and Confirmation respectively.
The education in the faith of the children however, goes hand in hand with prayer – the living relationship of the children of God with their Father. Each week, the children gather in solidarity through prayers, celebration of Sacraments, singing and sharing of personal experiences and recollection in our “Community Worship.” This event is voluntary with the following schedule of activities:
- First Friday Mass (First Fridays of the month)
- Different Catholic Devotions (Second Fridays of the Month)
- Bible sharing and reflections (Third Fridays of the month)
- Mass preparations such as choir practice, altar servers and lectors/commentators training (last Friday of the month)
This effort to provide for the spiritual formation of the students is supported by our parish priest, Rev. Fr. Wilmer Rosario of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish.
