My children are blessed to be part of this great learning community. Home to some of the most passionate educators I have ever met!

My son loves school! It amazes me how much he likes to share and apply knowledge of lessons learned in school in our daily activities and conversations- he is lucky to be in such a great school.

My son graduated today. From a school that labels itself as an “alternative” grade school. But looking at all 21 of them today, I think to my self why is it labeled so? Why is kindness, tolerance, true friendship and a healthy sense of wonder the “alternative” and not to the norm… I look at my son, his schoolmates, and wonder that maybe life would be much better if we were like them.

What first attracted us to consider sending Anya to Keys was the progressive approach. This meant a very interactive method of instruction and small class size. We got that and were quite happy, but what we also found was that we joined a group of like-minded parents who were, like us, very involved in their children’s education. This lent to an environment which was welcoming and inclusive. Aside from this, the size of the community allowed us to have our concerns heard and acted upon. The net effect of this environment is that Anya is able to understand and absorb her lessons well and enjoy learning!
